Article detailing the direction we plan to take with Smokehouse

I love meat.

The Smokehouse has been chugging away for about 4 weeks now. Some people have been farming from day one and we want to thank you for your support.

The Smokehouse just started off as a simple farm, an introduction for our team into the DeFi space. It blew up much more than we anticipated, so we want to continue the momentum and find ways to utilize SMOKE and bring it value.

SUPPLY:

We plan to cap the supply of $SMOKE at 5 million.

When the supply reaches 4 million, we will reduce rewards per block to 1, so the last million will be a slow farm. This will be done so not all liquidity leaves.

Currently, the supply is at 2,708,853 , so not much longer left until the rewards reduce.

Upgraded Contracts:

$SMOKE will go through an update into $SMOKE v2. We have not decided if we will rename it, but we definitely want to retheme it to something more VIDEO GAME based, as that is what we plan to base most of our projects on.

The upgraded contracts will include a buy back and burn feature similar to egg. Many pools will be added with deposit fees of 5%. The entire fee will be used to buy back and burn. The team will not get any of these fees as we feel we let everyone down and do not deserve it.

This should help burn down some of the supply.

UTILITY FOR $SMOKE:

What can you do with $SMOKE?

The final platform for $SMOKE will have all of the following included:

1. We will accept SMOKE/BNB LP for our future presales, and we will burn 100% of the SMOKE permanently.
2. You will be able to wage $SMOKE against other players head to head in all of our video games in development, the first one being Pepe Party.
3. You will be able to buy exclusive NFTs with $SMOKE through our NFT store. These NFTs will be able to do the following: You will be able to equip these NFTs in our video game avatars( and they may have special attributes). You will also be able to purchase NFTs that give you power ups in our farms/video games. Some of our games will have lootboxes with various goodies within them. Smoke will be used to open the lootboxes. More on this later. All $SMOKE proceeds will be burned.
4. Beta/Early access to help test all our video games and get sneak peaks.

Development of all these platforms have already begun. The smart contracts are basically completed, and we will schedule a migration to the upgrade contract and give everyone a 24 hour warning in advance. The NFT and a new website will follow shortly after. I have no specific ETA, other than we plan to get it out as soon as possible, and the development has already started and is progressing at a good rate.

Conclusion :

You guys can think of Smokehouse as the gaming company ( Like Nintendo ) , and whatever other projects or farms we release as each individual game. We plan on creating fun, unique farms as well as games that compliment them, with NFTs to boost the experience to the next level and also give you some form of degen gambling fix. Smoke will be the currency that is used for this.
